When you plan a funeral service with Deery’s Funeral Directors you will find that all requirements can be arranged by calling to our office in Carrickmacross or by phone if you prefer. If you are unable to attend in person, we would be more than happy to go to your home at a time that suits you and your family. You can be assured that here at Deery’s Funeral Directors we will ease your mind in arranging a funeral service which celebrates the deceased’s life in a way that is meaningful to the bereaved and reflects the life of the person who has died. To ensure this, we will attend to and liaise with all third parties on your behalf.
When a family contacts us we ask them to indicate their intentions regarding the funeral i.e. Do you have a date and time in mind for the funeral to take place? Deery’s Funeral Directors would then co-ordinate the funeral arrangements with the relevant people (Priest/Minister/Celebrant) and locations to ensure they are available. As per your wishes, confirmation of the time of the service is made with payment by us on behalf of the family. At this point we will also arrange and confirm times with the Cemetery / Crematorium on your behalf.
All the initial costs are paid and are then provided to the family with a detailed breakdown of all the funeral expenses. (If the family need a new grave we co-ordinate this with the local authorities, and make the purchase on your behalf also).
